FTC Identity Theft
Identity theft is getting out of hand and has topped the list of fraud-related crime complaints received by the FTC. As far as consumer fraud is concerned, FTC identity theft is highest when it comes to Internet auctions. Identity theft has increased by 17 percent in 2004 from 2003.
